But if you can't get to the gym or out for a run, then it's a perfect low-impact machine. I like to add some upper body motion (punches or arm rolls) to get my heart rate going-- and bend my knees to create some resistance. But even after an hour on my freestyle, I feel like I've kind of cheated on my workout because I haven't really gotten my heart rate up or broken a sweat... Overall...It gets the ...more

She has been using it now for about a month, and loves it! I read the reviews that stated the Gazelle squeaks,a the footpads break and things of that nature, but I believe that with a little Preventive Maintenance such as regreasing the pivot points occaisonally and standing in the middle of the foot pads where they are supported by the metal frame, these issues can be prevented.
