I weigh about 160lbs and the eliptical seems very sturdy and of solid robust build. My wife, two daughters and myself have been using it very regularly for about a year now and see no problems. I had a cheap elliptical years ago but it didn't compare to this one. It's very quiet with a smooth movement. Very stable, doesn't rock or move around when in use. It took about 3 hours to put together and I'm pretty experienced since I've probably had every kind of exercise equipment out there at one time or another. The first time on it was a little awkward because we have to keep our balance and are not used to it, but after a few minutes, you get into it. I got on it for the first time this afternoon and took a few minutes to get comfortable but really worked well. It feels more like a stepper than a true elliptical but the motion is circular and the weight is definitely off your knees. I'm a former exercise nut who has been out shape for 6 months and it worked me fine. If you squat you work your glutes, if you stand straight it works your core. It came in the mail fine and was really easy to put together. It works wonderfully, you do need to stand next to something so you don't fall off of it until you get the hang of it. Also, I think if you weigh more than 200 lbs it's probably not the little walker for you. I think maybe the people that had trouble with it braking on them weighed too much for such a small walker.
